The standard Virtual make Weather Station offers professional weather monitoring and outstanding value for money. Our weather stations are known for their precision measurements, rugged construction, wide operating temperature range and low power consumption. The standard weather station consists of a weatherproof enclosure which contains the data logger and power supply, and comes complete with a solar panel, tripod stand and basic range of sensors (Air Temperature, Relative Humidity, Wind Speed, Wind Direction and Rainfall). The data shuttle is a pocket-sized device that can be used to download and transport the data to a personal computer, allowing the Weather station to stay in place for continuous monitoring / recording. The shuttle connects to a PC and is used with the turn-key software to readout and view the data. User friendly Windows based weather station software allows you to view collected data. Data file is saved in Microsoft’s Excel format.
An Automatic Weather Station (AWS) stores the data continuously in a data logger (e.g. MDS-5) which enables measurements from remote areas via GSM, GPRS, Radio, W-LAN, or Satellite transmission. SEBA sensors correspond to the standards of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and our concepts are continuously improved. The configuration of an AWS may vary due to the purpose of the system but typically consists of a weather-proof enclosure containing the data logger (e.g. MDS-5), rechargeable battery and telemetry (optional), meteorological sensors, solar panels and a mast.

This versatile, waterproof instrument floats, features an easy-to-read backlit display, and has an auto shutdown feature, which activates after 15 minutes without a button press (feature can be disabled).
